2012 has come to a close and we have now entered 2013. One of the big topics that has already become widely discussed is which hip hop albums are we as fans most looking forward to this year. Elliott Wilson of Rap Radar, does a video segment called “The Truth” in which he discusses various topics surrounding hip-hop. This weeks topic is “The Top 10 Most Anticipated Hip-Hop albums of 2013″.

Its been quite a while since Drake has released a solo song and the thirst is quite real. Even without an official announcement of an album title, Drake has still managed to build suspense surrounding his junior album. For this reason, his album was named the most anticipated Hip-Hop album of 2013 with Jay-Z and Kanye filling the second and third spots.     Maybe it’s just because I’m not a huge fan of Rick Ross and Big Sean (anymore, I was rocking with him til he dropped that first album then I dunno; he’s not as great to me anymore but I have yet to listen to “Detroit” so maybe my mind will change again) but I was really like, “eh” and “wtf?” at their positioning on this list. Plus, where’s A$AP Rocky? Where’s Cudder? (Kid Cudi)? *shrugs*

      Rick Ross makes good music but as far as me anticipating I’m like ehhhhh…Big Sean’s ‘Detroit’ mixtape got me mad excited for this next album cause that mixtape was straight fire…A$AP leaked so its like….whatever I guess…Kid Cudi hasn’t been reaching me much lately….I love him since his mixtape but yeah…he did leave some people off this list though. I’m definitely NOT anticipating Jay Electronica cause he just pop up and then leave again so yeah

    Yea I like the list I mos definitely agree that Drake has the most anticapated album of 2013 because he said this album is goin to be different from the other two as far who he missed on the list A$AP Rocky his album is fire and Kid Cudi looks like he has an underrated album I like it because he’s goin back to da Old Cudi
