As a yearly tradition, Forbes releases their “30 Under 30” to highlight the most influential and successful people under 30 throughout every spectrum, each year. As Drake said it, “Forbes list like every year, my office is my tour bus”.
After the incredible year of 2013 from chart topping singles, a platinum selling album, a North American arena tour, joining the Raptors as their Global Ambassador and aligning with Jordan Brand for a partnership, who would say Drake isn’t deserving of this?
“Drake has become a mega-star, with sell-out crowds around the world,” says Rapino, who also comes from the Great White North. “His music and live performances have put him at the forefront of music and at the top of the charts. At 26, Drake has a growing global brand and business lines, he is a talented artist who is also becoming an accomplished businessman.”
This isn’t the first time Drake has been featured in Forbes lists as last year Drake took the number 2 spot on last year’s “Forbes’ List of Top Hip-Hop Earners” with an estimated $20.5 million. After all Drake’s previously stated
“[Making Forbes’ List] is pretty much my objective every year, other than making good music.”
With all of Drake’s accomplishments in 2013, we’re excited to see where Drake lands this year on Forbes’ Top Earners lists. Check out the full Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list here!
