Drake is currently out on his fall tour ‘Would You Like A Tour?’. Last night after some technical difficulties, the Philadelphia show was postponed until December.
After fans made their way into the Wells Fargo Arena, those on the floor were asked to clear the area as they were still working on a couple of things. A little while later it was made clear that the show was postponed as there were some technical difficulties. Drake had previously promised the kids from Strawberry Mansion [a school in Philly] free tickets, transportation, and etc., for the show. Even though it was postponed, Drake still met and talked with them and gave out free OVO gear. With the show now re-scheduled for December 18th, Drake is still giving them tickets for that show as well! The following statement was released about the show postponement:
Due to the elaborate nature of tonight’s show and an unexpected technical issue, Drake’s “Would You Like A Tour” concert at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia has been postponed until Wednesday, December 18. Drake, the Wells Fargo Center, Live Nation, and the entire team behind tonight’s show want to ensure fans will experience an unforgettable live music event and have decided to move the concert to a new date. All tickets and original parking receipts from tonight’s show will be honored at the Wednesday, December 18 date.
