After attending yesterday’s VMA awards and winning best hip-hop video, the accolades continue to roll in. Tonight the BMI Urban Awards were held in Los Angeles and Drake was able to take away the award for Songwriter Of The Year. This is Drake’s second year in a row to win this prestigious award. Drake was not in attendance at the award show tonight, but Birdman and T-Minus accepted the award on his behalf. Lil Wayne also took away the award for Urban Songwriter of The Year, making it a tie between the two! YMCMB. Congrats yet again Drake!
