Drake Wins Four 2016 American Music Awards

Tonight the 2016 American Music Awards aired live from LA. Drake was nominated for 13 awards and was able to take home four.

When the nominees for the 2016 AMA’s were announced, Drake broke the record previously held by Michael Jackson, with thirteen total nominations. Tonight, Drake attended the award show where he won a total of four awards. Two of his wins aired live on the show while the other two didn’t. Drake accepted the awards for Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop album and Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Artist live on the show. He thanked 40, Noel, the city of Toronto, the fans, and his parents. Additionally, he said that ‘More Life’ will be coming soon. Drake also won Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Artist for “Hotline Bling” and Favorite Soul/R&B song for “Work” with Rihanna. Congrats to Drake!
