The stats have arrived and the U.S. wins! In most illegal downloads that is. During the six months tracked, “The Motto” was downloaded over 450,000 times illegally making Drake the number one pirated artist in the U.S.

Despite being the most illegally downloaded song, “The Motto” is currently 2x platinum. Hats off to Drake for being able to sell records despite high levels of piracy!

  Actually it’s pretty dope that Drake is pretty much the top selling artist in hip-hop yet the most pirated. Shows that people support quality music.
