Houston’s very own, Slim Thug, recently did an interview with Montreality in which he talked a number of different subjects. When asked what artist he’d like to work with, he immediately named “Canada’s Very Own”, Drake. It’s no secret by now that Drake’s music is heavily influenced by Houston and that he is respected by numerous native Houston rappers.

“Since he got that Houston influence in him too, I think we’d make a hell of a song together. I like what he doing. I love how he hold it down on the music side. Especially because he reach out and do stuff like rap over an old Houston classic. I’m a big fan of Drake”, Slim Thug revealed. Being from Texas, I personally think a Slim Thug x Drake collab would be very dope. Will they collab? I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
