Its that time for the 2012 MTV VMA’s (Video Music Awards) and Drake is not only nominated, but is leading the pack. Drake and Rihanna are both nominated for five awards which puts them both in the lead for most nominations.The award show will air on Thursday, September 6th in Los Angeles at 8pm EST. In early July Drake headlined Wireless Festival in London. This weekend MTV UK aired some of the highlights of Drake’s performance. The highlights include “Crew Love” with The Weeknd, “Trust Issues”, “Take Care”, “Make Me Proud” with Nicki Minaj, and “HYFR”. Catch the videos after the jump. Now this is really living that YOLO life. While on a yacht, Trey Songz and some of his team and friends decided to do their very funny rendition of Drake’s hit song “The Motto”. They basically took us to church with their singing, hilarious! Check the video after the jump.
Today Kevin Hart is in Toronto for his comedy tour. While there him and his team met up with Drake and the OVO crew for some good ole paintball fun. From the pictures it looks like it was definitely a good time. Kevin Hart also tweeted that a video is coming soon so this should be quite entertaining. While on the Club Paradise Tour in London, Drake did an interview with the Jewish Chronicle in which he talked about many subjects. We all know Drake incorporates melody along with his rapping and thus appeals to a large fan base. Drake tells JC, “There were people who incorporated melody before me, but I would deem myself the first person to successfully rap and sing”. Rick Ross’s upcoming album “God Forgives I Don’t” is all set to drop this upcoming Tuesday (Jul 31st). As we already know, Drake is featured on the track “Diced Pineapples” with Ross and Wale. From the snippet, we were able to hear what sounds like a very smooth track as Wale spits some spoken word and Drake croons in the background.
