It’s that time of the year. The Source has dropped their annual Power 30 issue and Drake has made the cut, again. Last year, Drake was #24 and this year he has managed to jump up eleven spots to #13. Joining Drake on the list are Cash Money/Young Money (Birdman, Slim, and Lil Wayne) at the #3 spot and Nicki Minaj at #16. In the future, I only see Drake’s position continuing to rise! You can pick up your copy of the annual Power 30 issue on newsstands now. Click after the jump to see the reasoning behind Drake’s positioning on the list.

Aubrey “Drake” Graham has ben having a banner year. He came in at No.7 on the 2012 Forbest “Cash Kings” list, making an estimated $20.5 million. After releasing his second album Take Care, which has sold close to two million copies. Drake launched his Club Paradise tour and continued to earn an estimated $43 million. With Sprite and Kodak endorsemen deals, Drake’s earning potential continues to skyrocket. – L.C.
